John is available for concerts, festivals, club gigs, house parties, corporate and business events, and family functions (weddings, receptions, etc.).

When performing, John favors a very eclectic mix of songs and styles, playing original compositions that touch on many different genres (samples available from the Music page). He also plays a variety of cover songs by popular artists such as Bob Dylan, Randy Newman, James Taylor, Motown artists, B.B. King and Eric Clapton to name just a few. He selects and tailors his choice of material to fit the audience of a particular venue, event or gathering.

John has played at Farm Aid, the Grand Ole Opry, the House of Blues in L.A., the Rykodisc Records Convention in New Orleans, the Sunbanks Blues Festival in Washington state, the Dallas-Fort Worth Rodeo, SXSW in Austin, and has headlined the NXNW Music Festival in Portland and countless state and county fairs. He has also toured Switzerland, Germany, and England, as well as other parts of Europe and the U.S.
